"If you, unknowing, are able to create masterpieces in colour, then unknowledge is your way. But if you are unable to create masterpieces in colour out of your unknowledge, then you ought to look for knowledge".

Artcymru - welsh identity

A new publication from Dinefwr Press, edited by T. Graham Williams B.A., better known to most in Wales as "Cefnfab".

Click here to find out more (by visiting the web site) and to contact the editor for information regarding book sales.

EXTRACT: The seed of this book was initially planted in the land of the Open University, when its Editor pursued a course on analysing Welsh identity. Eventually, this experience enabled him to stimulate the Rhiwfawr Writer's Group to write prose and poetry on this polemical theme. Other well known authors were also invited to express their own interpretation on the Welsh identity. No doubt this anthology will evoke further discussions on the subject.

Axis (the body based in Leeds doing the same job as us but are receiving funding from the Arts Council of Wales, unlike us. They received over £40,000 from the Arts Council of Wales last year. Sorry, couldn't help including the dig ) is now recruiting for a Marketing and Events Coordinator and an IT Intern to join the team.
They are also offering two freelance contracts to evaluate the Dialogue and Graduates programmes.
