1999 with BA (Hons) Editorial Photography

While working as a mechanic in Zimbabwe for Raleigh International Moyrah became obsessed with the landscape and the need to record its colour and space and wildlife, this led to the reactivation of her interest in photography from her school
days when Moyrah was fascinated with underwater photography.

Moyrah accessed University through producing a portfolio of a self motivated project on 'The Chernobyl Effect in Belarus' after gate crashing a local college C & G course in the middle to learn how to process negatives and print.
Two friends supported her efforts, one lent her an old enlarger with a Russian camera lens. On this she printed the Chernobyl images balanced
on a workbench and blue-tacked the paper onto a piece of wood on the floor.
The second friend provided her with a home when she returned from Africa and helped paint and board up a section in her cellar to use as a darkroom.

From this point her work has progressed with other self initiated projects -
A wolf sanctuary in Colorado.
Llanberis Slate Quarry, "Stone & Man."
Greenland, "Between Sky & Sea" and her present projects "The Rough Guide."
"Landscape with Attitude" and
"Strata Florida" ( Millennium Funded).

Still-Light and colour remain the major influences of her work within a broad spectrum of
landscape. The work is associated with cultural interests, heredity, observations, and in capturing elements of aesthetics. The aesthetics play
multiple rolls, it may add humour, sarcasm or simply confirm the existence of something overlooked or misplaced in everyday living.
