Following the launch in October the forum invites any artist /writer in whatever medium to come along to the meeting. These are informal gatherings over a glass or two. The forum is there as a support system to offer advice over art related topics, the best place to purchase materials, transport services, exhibiting opportunities etc. We are not a talking shop bemoaning our ill luck, demanding studio space, greater funding for the arts, believe it or not we are beyond all that! What we can offer is advice, encouragement and the chance to see work in progress often years before the general public.
The long term success of the forum is dependant on the creative members of the community supporting it driving its agenda, only then will the arts flourish in the borough.
