David Jones MA (RCA)

David Jones studied photography at the Royal College of Art from
1986 to 1988.

"The methodology is based as much on environment as personal philosophy, whether the medium be sculpture, painting or photography. The concerns represent the larger picture but become contained within the locality. I utilise what is discarded and seen as "'Waste', reappropriate and recontextualise".
David Jones October 2002

"Tie a..."
Upwards of 70 sheets - mixed media.

"There has never been a career plan, gradually, over a period of time, the need arises to work in a different media, currently that involves painting with industrial paints. With experience the work becomes more reflective, less concerned with courting popularity, confident in my own ability. As a result one can feel as though one is living in the wrong age".
David Jones
