Heather has exhibited extensively during the last few years.
Her recent work deals with her love of figurative subjects, and in particular the genre of portraiture.

Many of her recent studies are taken from direct observation of the characters in and around a local cattle market in her locality near Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Although Heather is still a part-time student at the Swansea Institute of Higher Education in Townhill, Swansea, she has already tasted considerable success. In May this year she won the prestigious Welsh Artist of the Year - Student Prize for the portrait featured on the Artists page (and above). This work was snapped up at the exhibition and is indicative of the demand for her work.
