CONGRATULATIONS to David Burton, from all at Artcymru,
on his recent election to the National Association of Painters in Acrylics.

Seen as one of the bright hopefuls of Welsh Contemporary Art, David Burton has exhibited widely in the UK and has works in many private and public collections. He has attracted much publicity, with numerous newspaper and magazine articles, as well as appearing on television in several Arts documentaries. With no pretentions of refinement or polish, his work is often blunt and down to earth, expressing his own deeply personal vision of the world in a simplified and direct manner.

Artist's Statement

"My work will have many different meanings to many different people. I find it almost impossible to put into words what it is about. Therefore I simply let the viewer make up their own minds, make their own interpretations and make of it what they will."
