Recently Bernard Mitchell moved back to his home town of Swansea and is available for commissions. He specialises in documentary and portrait photography as well as press and public relations.
Schools and Community Group Projects
Bernard has over the years run many successful schools and community projects, these have included, the Barclays Bank schools project with Aberystwyth Arts Centre, special needs group projects with the Arts Care mobile darkroom, and the Millennium project with ten schools in the Maesteg Valley.
Courses and lectures
Lectures in documentary portraiture, the artists and writers of Wales, and photojournalism, for colleges, schools etc.

Cwmdonkin Drive
Cwmdonkin Drive, is the first in a series of six images, to mark the 50th anniversary of the death of Dylan Thomas. This limited edition photograph, taken in his bedroom, in Cwmdonkin Drive, where he lived and wrote the words, which surround the image. The photograph is printed digitally on A3 archival paper, signed and numbered, and costs £45 inc post and packing.
