This will be a vital part of your portfolio, or work journal, and is your chance to display your great level of skill - your wonderful drawing techniques.
(Remember - there is more than just one way to draw. Look at different drawing techniques and styles and when it comes to producing those studies of pots and pans, skulls and milk bottles - introduce these varied methods to keep your interest in the subject).

THE STILL LIFE
Still life is often considered to be a boring area of study. However, it can be the most rewarding - if approached in the correct frame of mind.
When drawing still life consider the various techniques of mark-making you could use to keep your interest in the subject. If you explored the various methods available to you you would have several additional pieces of work to fill your journal - from the same composition. However, it should be remembered that various combinations of composition should be considered until you are happy with a final design you could persue to a final piece.
