Creating Digital Art


Digital images can be created through use of digital photography, scanning, colour
and form manipulation. Learn how to create images within the digital medium, work
towards creating a digital portfolio and investigate opportunities to participate in
virtual exhibitions of projected images

Digital Camera Images for Art


Digital cameras have become readily accessible and many artists are using them to
record images of their work. Inexperience with a digital camera and the relationship
between these images and print requirements can result in the images not being of
an usable quality and a valuable resource to the artist is lost. This course is aimed
at improving poor quality images.

Simple Web Site


Make quick and simple web pages (using templates), no technical experience
necessary

Dates: Wed 29th & Thurs 30th September £20.00

Pattern Making


Participants will be able to create digital patterns for use in the textile and interior
design industries. A consideration of the use of patterns on or for objects will be
explored and may be prepared for agency use in industry.

Dates: Mon 4th, Tues 5th, Wed 6th & Thurs 7th October £40.00

Promotional Print Material

Design layouts for the production of personal stationery and print material using
industry standard software.

Dates: Wed 13th & Thurs 14th October £20.00

Using a Digital Camera

A workshop about how to get good results with a digital camera involving practical
demonstrations using simple techniques and equipment. Consideration of lighting
and composition for images of art, two and three dimensions, will be central to this
workshop.

Dates: Wed 20th & Thurs 21st October £20.00
