SCROLL DOWN FOR DETAILS OF A SPECIAL DYLAN THOMAS BOOK OFFER Dylans Bookstore was founded in 1971 by Jeff and Elizabeth Towns as a general second-hand bookshop. It has grown and developed with time and now is recognised as the leading specialist in books - first editions and signed copies; manuscripts, letters and ephemera by and about Dylan Thomas.
Less widely known is the extensive stock of Welsh history, topography, folklore and literature, both antiquarian and more modern, also to be found in their Salubrious Passage bookstore. This stock is also rich in all aspects of Anglo-Welsh literature. It is also not unusual to stumble upon the odd painting or print both old and modern by various Welsh Artists.
Their large general second-hand stock of some 10,000 books is now browsable (and buyable!) at the large and well appointed bookshop/cafe within the Dylan Thomas Centre in Somerset Place in Swansea's maritime quarter. Jeff Towns is also available for consultation on all matters bibliographic - offering a valuation service for both insurance and probate, and offering advice on both the building and the disposal Collections and Libraries.
WE ARE ALWAYS KEEN TO PURCHASE GOOD BOOKS - from single items of merit to whole libraries and collections.
